It’s finally here! LEGOLAND Florida Resort unveiled the long-awaited $10 million LEGOLAND Water Park this week, and it’s already proving to be one of the most popular spots at the resort. Complete with an array of family-friendly water slides, sandy beaches, and even an area where kids can enjoy some time building their own toys out of LEGO bricks, LEGOLAND Water Park offers plenty of fun for guests aged three to 12 years old.
The all new waterpark:
LEGOLAND Water Park features more than seven slides, sandy beaches and the unique Build. With a kids’ zone that includes LEGO Duplo Splash Safari, a family area with LEGO building stations, and our newest attraction LEGO Tornado—a spinning funnel that takes you on an exhilarating ride through water and bricks you can build your way to fun for every member of your family. And don’t miss out on our new Pirates Cove water play area for ages 2-5 years old. The long slide is perfect for those over 46 tall and there are even two pirate ships to play on so all of your little swashbucklers can have fun together.

The all-new water park features seven slides, including a 3 story family slide as well as an 18 foot slide that is sure to leave you soaked. With sandy beaches and plenty of places to lounge on our giant floating mats, it’s easy to stay cool while you get wet. And if building is more your speed, don’t miss out on the Build Zones where kids can design their own creations with LEGO bricks. It’s a whole new way to get soaked
Where is it:
The park is located a few minutes away from the San Diego Zoo and SeaWorld, so it’s perfect for families with little ones who might not be able to make it all day on a full day of water rides.
There are six slides, two sandy beaches and a Build station where children can create their own LEGO models using thousands of colorful bricks.
The two largest slides require riders to be 48 inches tall and six years old, while smaller children will enjoy the toddler slide the two small tube slides that are great for practicing swimming skills.
How much does it cost:
A one day ticket is $55 for children 3 to 12 years old and $65 for adults. A two day ticket is $105 for children 3 to 12 years, and $115 for adults. Plus, you can add a 1 hour swim in our lazy river or relax with a quick dip in one of our swimming pools. With so many ways to have fun, this will be an experience you don’t want to miss out on!
Practical Tips:
1. Stop by to claim your complimentary locker before you hit the slides and sandy beaches. 2. Make sure to grab a cold drink from the park’s new Starbucks offering on your way in, where you can also enjoy fresh pastries and sandwiches. 3. Set aside some time for a stop at Build, where kids of all ages can design their own LEGO creations using a variety of bricks and other materials for inspiration. 4. Slip down one of seven different water slides or cool off in one of three wave pools when things start to heat up too much for you. 5. I would plan my day:
I would wake up early and drive to the park, but arrive 30 minutes before opening. I would spend time on the slides and in the wave pool. At lunchtime, I’d head to Hurricane Harbor or Great Wolf Lodge for a buffet before returning to LEGOLAND for more slides. After that, I would head back to my hotel for a quick rest before going out for dinner and spending more time exploring this new LEGO experience
